Ramsauer 1057 Open-Cell Backer Rod is a flexible polyurethane foam backing material for sealant joints in dry interior areas. It controls joint depth and prevents three-sided adhesion, allowing elastic sealants to accommodate movement. Suitable for joints around windows, partitions, floor coverings and prefabricated elements. Contains approximately 30% recycled material. Not suitable for wet rooms or exterior use.
