The fire protection silicone without corrosive properties

340 Brandschutz is the ideal sealant when glazing or construction joints need to be provided with a flame-retardant seal. The ready-to-use silicone rubber is characterised by its strong heat resistance up to 250°C. Due to its excellent adhesion and non-corrosive properties, this neutral-cure silicone is also suitable for sealing expansion and butt joints in metal structures. After curing fully, 340 Brandschutz is rated at building material class B1 in accordance with DIN 4102 between metallic and/or solid mineral building materials.
